The mission of Aura Housing is to empower persons to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty, to address structural causes of poverty, and to enable all of us to attain our fullest potential as individuals and as members of the broader society. We plan to achieve this through street outreach; supportive housing; and comprehensive services including health care, education, day care, and neighborhood revitalization programs, including affordable housing development; employment training and opportunities; adult and youth education; health care; and substance abuse programs. Aura Housing will strive to create a stable and secure environment where we support each other in our struggles for self esteem, recovery and the confidence to move toward self-actualization. We believe that all persons are entitled to decent, affordable housing and access to quality education, employment and health care.
